RDS adds to its experienced team one of the most sought-after talents, the legendary Patrick Roy, Director General and Head Coach of the Québec Remparts, a renowned goaltender who made NHL history. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2006, Patrick Roy won two Stanley Cups with the Canadiens and two more with the Avalanche. He also won the Vézina and Conn Smythe trophies three times each.
“Without a doubt, the addition of Patrick Roy to our team will bring a new dynamic to the Antichambre set, emphasized Gerry Frappier, president of the network. Patrick enjoys a special relationship with Quebekers, and to have him associated to our panel of experts confirms yet again that RDS is the ultimate reference for sports fans here.”
“If I was to join a team to share my ideas and opinions on the world of hockey as it stands today, it is most definitely with RDS that I would choose to do it. I am very happy to become a part of the Antichambre panel, indicated Patrick Roy. You know me, my priority remains with the Québec Remparts, but it is with passion that I will comment on sports news in the company of my new colleagues.”
A highlight of late evening RDS programming hosted by Stéphane Langdeau, l’Antichambre is entering its fifth season and already has among its panelists such solid contributors as Michel Bergeron, Marc Tremblay, Guy Carbonneau, Vincent Damphousse, François Gagnon, Gaston Therrien, Denis Gauthier and PJ Stock
The whole Antichambre team eagerly awaits its new season as the number one sports talk show in Québec on September 10.
